Eden Camp Year 6 - Wednesday 13 September 2017
As part of our ‘World War 2 – friends or foes?’ learning challenge, we have planned a trip to Eden Camp. This is a great opportunity for the children to experience a day in a real war camp and explore in more depth, the events that happened during the war.
Your child will need to be at school for 8:00am so the coach can depart at 8:30am. We will return to school by 4:30pm. If there are any delays, you will be notified by text.
For the day, the children will need:
- - To wear their school uniform
- - A coat
- - A packed lunch – this can be ordered from the school kitchen, form attached.
- - A drink
There is a small shop at Eden Camp where children can buy a souvenir if they wish. If any parents or carers would like to volunteer to help on the trip, then please let me know.
The cost of the trip is £11.50. We are asking for a voluntary contribution for this amount to cover the cost of the trip; we are therefore asking for a voluntary contribution of this amount to cover the cost. This trip also is available to consent and purchase, via our on-line Parentpay system. Children entitled to free school meals will have the cost met centrally. If anyone else has difficulties, please speak to Mrs Lee. Please ensure that consent and payment is received in school by Friday 8 September 2017.
