Reception Eureka Trip

As part of our topic ‘Space’, we have arranged an educational visit to Eureka in Halifax on Wednesday 28th February 2018. The visit will include a tour around Eureka and a visit to the Sound Garden. We will leave school at 8.40am and arrive back at 3:15pm. Your child will need to wear school uniform, sensible footwear and a raincoat.

We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £6.30 per child to cover the cost of the coach. Entry to Eureka is free as Miss Briedis won the trip in a competition. Children entitled to free school meals will have this cost met centrally. If you have any questions about meeting the cost of the trip, please contact the office. This trip is available to purchase, and consent to via our on-line Parentpay system or by completing the form below and sending cash/ cheque made payable to school.

Your child will need to bring a packed lunch and drink for the day. If you would like a packed lunch from school, please complete the form attached. Please ensure your child’s packed lunch is in a disposable bag, with their name clearly labelled.

We welcome parent volunteers for whom there is a limited number of places on the coach; please contact your child’s class teacher if you wish to help.
