Reception Thornton Hall Farm Trip
As part of our topic Gardens and Growing, we have arranged an educational visit to Thornton Hall Country Park Farm on Wednesday 25th April. The visit will include egg collecting, a caterpillar ride, bottle feeding the lambs and learning about how to care and look after farm animals. We will leave school at 9am and arrive back at 3:15pm. Your child will need to wear school uniform, sensible footwear and a raincoat suitable for outdoor provision.
We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £15.00 per child to cover the coach and farm entry. Children entitled to free school meals will have this cost met centrally. If you have any questions about meeting the cost of the trip, please contact the office. This trip will be available to purchase, and consent via our on-line Parentpay system from Friday 6th April or by completing the form below and sending cash/cheque made payable to school in an envelope.
Your child will need to bring a packed lunch and drink for the day. If you would like a packed lunch from school, please complete the form attached and return it to school by Friday 20th April. Please ensure your child’s packed lunch is in a disposable bag, with their name clearly labelled.
