Year 1 Come and Do session 9.30-10.50am
We would like to invite you into school for our first ‘Come and Do’ session, which will be a great opportunity for you to experience Year One and work with your child to complete a project. There will be two sessions throughout the academic year in which you will be invited in for a morning/afternoon of practical, creative learning!
To coincide with our science topic, ‘Why are humans not like tigers?’, we would like to invite you into school to create a tiger habitat with your child. The children will be able to WOW you with amazing facts about tigers so you can produce a habitat that is ‘tiger friendly’! In preparation for this, your child will need to bring to school a shoebox on the week commencing 30th October (the week after half term). A letter with more detail will be provided at a nearer date.
To ensure you have the most successful tiger experience, we are limiting each session to fifteen children per class. We will try to accommodate the date you have shown as a preference. If you are flexible on the dates, please make this clear on the return slip. Grandparents or other family members are more than welcome if you cannot make it yourself. Please speak to a member of the Year One team if you have any concerns or queries.
The sessions will take place on:
Wednesday 8th November 9:30-10:50am
Monday 13th November 1:15-3pm
